This position requires the availability to work in-office 2 times a month, or as needed. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (with some flexibility)As a Tax Analyst Sr. you will be working with the sales tax leasing division of Commercial Equipment and Vendor Finance. In this role you will receive and respond to inquires about tax availability for various Equipment and Vendor Finance lease accounts. This includes:- Reviewing exemption certificates
- Reviewing lease agreements
- Reviewing tax rates
- Performing adjustments as needed
- Verifying proof of sales tax paid
- Sales tax reporting at beginning of each monthThe ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:- Excel experience
- Sales tax experience is preferred
- Commercial leasing experience
Job Description
  • Organizes and analyzes tax forms for filing in accordance with regulations.
  • Research and monitor appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
  • Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
  • Working with business units to keep them informed about tax implications of their operation.
  • Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs.
