Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Lead the global implementation of centralized workplace programs and policies across all regions.
  • Ensure consistency in service experience while allowing for local adaptation based on culture, regulations, regional nuances, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Places Site Managers, Project Delivery, Places Technology, Procurement, and Finance to align centralized workplace services with the company’s broader strategic initiatives.
  • Apply a Day 1 mindset to identify and explore new opportunities to optimize financial efficiencies and program effectiveness across global workplace operations.

Process, Procedure, & Documentation

  • Develop, standardize, and maintain global processes and procedures for all centralized workplace operations, including IFM service delivery, financial management, vendor engagement, and program execution.
  • Create and manage comprehensive documentation, playbooks, and training materials to ensure consistent application of best practices across all regions and vendor partners.
  • Implement robust governance frameworks to ensure adherence to established processes and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Regularly review and update operational policies and procedures to reflect industry best practices, regulatory changes, and evolving business needs.

Commute & Transportation Program Ownership

  • Serve as the global program owner for the company's commute and transportation initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and manage strategies to optimize employee commute experiences, including alternative commute programs, transportation benefits, and related vendor relationships.
  • Analyze program effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.

Budgeting & Financial Management

  • Manage and partner with the Places Site Manager team on global workplace services budgets, including comprehensive forecasting, stringent cost control, and detailed reporting for all facilities and programs.
  • Identify and implement significant cost-saving opportunities through operational efficiencies, strategic vendor leverage, and innovative financial strategies.
  • Own and develop detailed financial plans for service implementations or changes that impact global workplace operations.
  • Lead and manage the annual capital planning strategy for global facilities projects, ensuring appropriate investment in preventative maintenance and continuous evaluation of asset lifecycle costs and payback.

Facilities Projects Oversight

  • Provide centralized oversight and governance for global facilities projects, ensuring alignment with financial objectives, project timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Places Site Managers and Project Delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a rich database of workplace information and benchmarking for constant reference and guidance in decision-making, constantly seeking opportunities for 'best & leading industry practice' in facilities project management.

Vendor & IFM Partner Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for the global IFM partner and other key centralized workplace service vendors.
  • In partnership with Places Site Managers, drive vendor performance through the establishment and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Lead comprehensive RFPs, contract negotiations, and renewals with a strong focus on customer experience, optimization, innovation, and compliance across all global vendor agreements.
  • Manage and validate that outsourced vendor partners meet and manage against desired outcomes, supporting the development and setting of SLAs and objectives for improving team performance.
  • Support QBRs and vendor scorecard ratings to efficiently manage vendors and report performance and accomplishments to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in global operations management, with a strong focus on financial management, vendor contract governance, and program development within a large, multi-national organization.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing operational processes and documentation for consistent global service delivery.
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing transportation or commute programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with IFM partner management, including leading RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance management.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment and manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
