This job oversees load balancers and CDN platforms, handles outages, leads network design, supports system availability, deploys equipment, implements best practices, offers on-call support, manages global teams, communicates incident impacts, and creates documentation.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee load balancers, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) equipment, Content Delivery Network (CDN) platforms, and troubleshoot client/server issues.
- Handle proactive and reactive outages, work with vendors, and take ownership of network incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis.
- Lead backbone network design and architecture for on-premises and public cloud migration, and build hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Work with business unit leadership, product managers, and customers to develop project objectives, timelines, and feature requirements.
- Support network system availability, manage network capacity, and ensure compliance with Information Security standards.
- Deploy equipment, manage SSL certificate hosting and renewal, and build infrastructure for data centers and cloud environments.
- Implement and continually improve operational procedures, systems, and network engineering best practices.
- Offer on-call support, monitor infrastructure and hosted services, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Manage and influence global teams, provide guidance and support, and mentor team members in areas of expertise.
- Communicate incident impacts, risks, and mitigation plans to executives, document incident information, and create network engineering documentation and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design
- Lead the design, migration, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for M365 and related productivity tools.
- Implementation & Administration
- Manage and configure M365 core services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Intune, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Support and integrate Google Workspace applications as part of cross-platform collaboration strategies.
- Oversee hybrid environments (on-premises Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD Connect).
- Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including Conditional Access, DLP, encryption, MFA, and Microsoft Purview solutions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and data governance standards.
- Integration & Automation
- Develop and maintain workflows and automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, and APIs.
- Integrate M365 and Google Workspace with other enterprise applications and identity providers.
- Support & Optimization
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex M365 and Google Workspace issues.
- Analyze usage patterns to recommend and implement performance and adoption improvements.
- Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and SOPs.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct user training where needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 7+ years in enterprise-level Microsoft 365 administration, engineering, or architecture roles.
- Proven experience with Exchange Online , Microsoft Teams , SharePoint Online , and OneDrive .
- Proficiency with Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity configurations.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Google Workspace:
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, etc.).
- Familiarity with coexistence and migration between M365 and Google Workspace.
- Hybrid Environments:
- Experience managing hybrid Exchange and Active Directory setups.
- Understanding of network, security, and identity challenges in hybrid cloud adoption.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Google Workspace Administrator Certification
- Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate or equivalent.
