The Reporting, Analytics and Automation Lead is a SVP (C14) leadership position in Citi’s Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. The mandate of COO is to lead the Transformation efforts of the firm to deliver client excellence, improved operating efficiency and returns. As part of COO, the CDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The CDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management. The CDO comprises of four functional groups: Business Aligned Data Leads, Core Data Delivery, Data Enablers, and Data Functions & Partners.
Responsibilities
Lead the adoption of data governance tooling and technologies across the organization, ensuring tools are effectively utilized to achieve business objectives.
Work closely with IT, and business teams to identify data tooling needs and ensure the seamless integration of these tools into existing workflows.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee proficiency in using new and existing data tools.
Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the benefits of data tooling adoption and providing success stories of impactful usage.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and stay informed on the latest data tooling advancements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data tools in meeting business goals, and propose adjustments or new solutions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies in the adoption and use of data tools.
Lead cross-functional processes and workflows, enhancing efficiency and data quality.
Product manage automation projects that help create efficiencies in data reporting.
Experience
10+ years of experience managing data related projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information systems or a related field.
Proven experience in managing budgets and leading technology adoption projects within a business context.
Senior level experience in an Apps Development, Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Management role. Demonstrated strong execution capabilities.

Experience in developing and delivering training programs is highly desirable.
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel data analysis skills (pivots, data analysis etc.)
Experience in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
Able to manage project teams and deliver high-quality that meet or exceed timeline and budgetary targets.
Strong understanding of data management principles and experience with a wide range of data tools and technologies (e.g. databases, datawarehouse tools, ETL tools, data governance tools, data catalogs, data quality, lineage, data visualization software e.g. Tableau, Angular etc.)
Data/Application Architecture knowledge and experience
Automation experience with tools such as Appian, a plus
