RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meeting budgeted hours, planned schedule, and agreed-upon level of quality on assigned project work
  Communicating with the project manager on required changes to budget, schedule, or quality level on assigned project work
• Communicating with the project manager on progress on assigned project work
• Generate requisitions for various types of rotating & Package equipment such as pumps, compressors, special purpose packaged equipment (elevator, dryer package, etc.).
• Incorporate applicable code and customer requirements in order to produce a complete technical definition of the equipment.
• Assume the primary liaison role with various outside suppliers.
• Technically evaluate bids and participate in the supplier selection process.
• Review supplier designs against licensor requirements, code requirements, and customer requirements.
  Coordinate withsuppliers throughout the fabrication phase of the project.

• Bachelor’s Degree in of Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Degree and 8-10 years’ experience equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in Rotating/package Equipment design, operating and/or manufacturing is required.
  Minimum 8 years’experience with specification and/or manufacture of Rotating equipment per API600 series
• (American Petroleum Institute) and/or ANSI, ISO are required.
• Multi-tasking abilities to maintain contributions on schedule for several projects simultaneously
• Ability to communicate well with suppliers in both written and verbally
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to travel 10% globally on an annual basis

• 12 + years’ experience is preferred
• Experience with design, specification and fabrication of Compressors and Packaged Equipment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with code calculations and general constructability issues is a plus.
• Good working knowledge, Adobe Acrobat Standard, Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL, Power Point) is considered ideal.
• Disciplined approach to maintaining project files for team use is key.
• Documentation of correspondence and issue resolution is considered ideal.
• Engineers, and Procurement of status of requisitions and document reviews is necessary.
• Ability to mentor and help develop younger engineers is considered ideal.
• Experience with FiredHeaters is a plus
