Key job responsibilities
- Solving security problems that require novel methods or approaches
- Developing prototypes of security automation tools
- Leading security projects (including security reviews, tool development, and creation of new security practices) with end-to-end ownership
- Creating, updating, and maintaining threat models for a wide variety of use cases- Acting as technical security specialist on risk-based security reviews and assessments
- Collecting/reviewing data from multiple sources to conduct a security review

- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of one or more of the following domains: access- control system and methodology, network security, application- and system-development security, security architecture and models, cryptography, and operations security
- Proficiency in reading and writing in at least one scripting or programming language for the purposes of code review and development of prototypes of security tooling
- Information Security certifications like CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 [Member or Associate level] CC (Certified in Cybersecurity), CGRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance Certification), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or SANS GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
- Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis, and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions
- 1+ years of relevant Information Security experience
