Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
  • OR equivalent experience.
• GitHub or other links showcasing your development skills OR a UI/UX portfolio is required.
• Experience working with HTML custom elements or Web Component libraries (lit, FAST, etc).
• Working knowledge of visual design tools such as Figma.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Uphold the craft bar with a relentless attention to details & end user delight.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow designers and partners in Research, Product Management and Engineering.
• Serve as a vital link between the Design and Engineering teams in order to realise the product vision into reality.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Oversee timelines and deliverables, drive production, and communicate evolving project goals. Drive alignment and harmony with partner design teams across Microsoft.
