The successful applicant will be performing work on US Government classified environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position may also perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.
What You’ll Do
Create, design, and implement secure system architectures and solutions based on customer requirements and industry standards.
Integrate various existing Cisco and non-Cisco products to devise innovative solutions.
Evaluate existing system architectures from a security perspective.
Develop proof-of-concept ideas to narrow down technical possibilities meeting the customer requirements.
Who You'll Work With
In this role, you will directly interact with our customers, offering hands-on solutions to their challenges. You will work on various projects that contribute significantly to national security. We value your creative insights on how to accomplish tasks effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
7 years of experience in software engineering
5 years experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining system architectures with a security focus.
5 years of experience in Python or similar scripting language to develop, automate, and/or integrate software solutions.
5 years experience with hypervisor technologies (such as: VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or Xen)
3 years experience with implementing and managing Storage Area Networks (SANs).
Preferred Qualifications:
Self-motivated and dedicated to surpassing client expectations.
Ability to translate customer requirements into robust, scalable, and secure system architectures by adhering to industry and security standards.
Outstanding critical thinking skills, particularly in ambiguous situations.
Proficiency in presenting complex solutions/ideas to all levels of participants in a team environment.
Advanced knowledge of open source and enterprise operating systems (Linux or Unix).
