Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
- The primary aim of this role is to get the compound library organized, accessible and integrated with HTS.
- Understand compound flow and improve on efficiency.
- Interact with chemistry, biochemistry, and biology for key assay HTS utilization.
- Working knowledge of key biochemistry screening assays
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively communicate project status in a timely manner
Basic Qualifications:
- PHD (or equivalent laboratory experience) in Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Life Sciences, at least 10 years compound management/sample logistics experience
- Leading or part of an HTS laboratory
- Excellent knowledge of HTS technologies including automation, robotics, HTS processes
- Excellent computer and data analysis skills - working knowledge of Genedata or comparable data analysis system and database
- Excellent communication skills and work productively in a team setting.
