Responsibilities

  • 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) Layer 2 responsibilities

  • 3GPP 5G NR Feature development in Radio Access Network (RAN)

  • SW development in MAC and Modem Driver

  • DL and UL channel configuration and callflows

  • Interfacing with gNodeB Layer 3 (RRC), Layer 2 (RLC) and Layer 1 (PHY)

  • Fixed and dynamic DL and UL channel schedulers

  • Realtime sensitive, multi-core and multi-threaded programming

  • Interactions with Firmware and Hardware components on a high-speed interface

Skills

  • Experience with DPDK usage

  • Or strong C programming with familiarity in Object oriented concepts

  • Familiarity with 3GPP 5G NR Specifications

  • Familiarity with developing/working in Linux environment

  • Knowledge of multi-core, multi-threaded programming and associated OS concepts

  • Familiarity with industry standard software development and debugging tools (IDEs, build systems, git, gdb)

  • Experience working collaboratively within a distributed team

  • Python is useful but not required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
