System Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architectural development of advanced lidar systems, integrating opto-mechanical systems, electronics, and FW.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with optical engineers, mechanical engineers, software developers, and other specialists to ensure system coherence and integration across various domains.
Requirements Analysis: Define and analyze system requirements, specifications, and performance metrics. Translate customer needs into detailed engineering requirements and system architectures.
Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and solve complex engineering problems related to system design, performance, and integration. Provide innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system design requirements, Architecture specifications, and reports. Communicate design concepts, progress, and results to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
B.Sc. Electrical Engineering / Optical Engineering from a leading academic institute. M.Sc. - preferred.
at least 7 years in system architecture or engineering roles, with a strong background in opto-mechanical systems design. Experience in lidar technology or related fields is highly desirable.
Expertise in opto-mechanical system design, including optical systems, sensors, and mechanical components.
Proficiency in engineering tools and software for system simulation, and analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly to various audiences.
High proficiency in technical English
Experience with signal processing – An advantage.
Strong understanding of lidar technology – An advantage.
Experience in the Automotive industry – An advantage.
