JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Aircraft Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Corporate Flight Department in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the safety and reliability of our aircraft.

You will report directly to our Aircraft Maintenance Manager, and you will work out of our designated location on a rotating work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our Corporate Flight Department by ensuring the proper functioning of aircraft and systems. You will collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and conduct inspections. Your commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of aircraft maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Launch and recover Aircraft
  • Perform post flight inspections
  • Towing and fueling of Aircraft and aircraft fuel deliveries
  • Rotating second shift and weekend coverage once each month, includes some over time
  • Rotating holiday coverage
  • Ground support equipment maintenance
  • Parts procurement, receiving and shipping of Aircraft parts
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with aircraft and systems
  • Follow maintenance manuals and procedures and ensure compliance with current FAA regulations
  • Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Technician
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repair
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or a related field.
• Experience with specific aircraft models or systems (e.g., Boeing, Airbus).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
