Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience overseeing a hardware manufacturing effort.
- 1 year of experience as a technical leader in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
- 3 years of experience technically leading or managing a team working on development or production of new electrical systems (e.g. satellites, commercial electronics).
- Experience driving yield improvement efforts, Six Sigma methods, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and DOE (Design of Experiments).
- Experience with reliability engineering and failure analysis methods.
- Experience in manufacturing scale-up from an RandD effort to volume production.
- Understanding of mechanical, PCB, or silicon fabrication principles and the constraints they impose on physical device design.
