Lead Cyber Security – Flood Test Team Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, creating detailed test cases, and executing tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our Hadoop-based security platforms.
- Data quality testing, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data processed by Hadoop components, as well as conducting performance testing to optimize application efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for a broad spectrum of security platforms and produce automated test scenarios to ensure maximum test coverage while driving efficiencies into the testing process.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, this role will contribute to integration testing efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability between Hadoop modules and external systems.
- Regression testing will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring the stability of Hadoop platforms across releases in an Agile framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.
- Requires 3-5 years of related experience.
- 3 years of proven experience in testing applications built on Hadoop technologies required.
- Solid understanding of Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Docker, etc. required.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, Unix, Python, and networking required.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools for Hadoop applications.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and querying within Hadoop environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker - CEH) are a plus.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills will be vital when working with cross-functional teams, providing timely feedback on defects and improvements.

Our Lead Cybersecurity earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
