    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 2+ years of experience managing external customers or partners facing collaboration and communication.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
    • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience inengineering, technical program management, or security engineering/operations

o OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 6+ years of experience managing external customers or partners facing collaboration and communication.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience investigating security vulnerabilities and exploits.
  • Professional security vulnerability case management, triage, and communication or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL).
  • In-depth knowledge or good demonstrated capacity to learn product and service security concepts.
  • Ability to distill and explain complex technical and security concepts to different types of audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with the security vulnerability research community.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Microsoft’s end-to-end security vulnerability response process for speed, transparency, and collaboration in partnership with stakeholders across the company.
  • Represent Microsoft with external individuals and organizations reporting security vulnerabilities to Microsoft.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance data to identify and deliver process improvement and automation.
  • Collect and analyze security researcher, partner, and customer feedback to identify and deliver improvements to the end-to-end response process and external and internal engagement.
  • Help shape the strategic direction of Microsoft's approach vulnerability response
