As an Accounting Representative you will be responsible for:

• Purchasing order and payables processing for approval and posting
• Assisting with investigating and resolving purchase order and payable invoice discrepancies and deficiencies
• Assisting with accounts payables and bank reconciliations
• Reconciling general and subsidiary ledger accounts‘ detail
• Assisting the team in monthly financial reporting and the annual audit processes
• Ad hoc projects as assigned in conjunction with Head of Accounting

• Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting including accounts payables, general ledger and financial reports.
• Certified bookkeeper is an advantage
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav ERP system preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate in Icelandic and English required
