In this role, your responsibilities will be to develop the ATE production test solutions that will guarantee the constant high quality of our integrated RF devices in high volume production.
As a Junior RF test development engineer (ATE), it will be your task to develop the test solutions that will guarantee the constant high quality of our integrated RF devices in high volume production. Together with your project partners in silicon validation, circuit design, system engineering, firmware development and product engineering, you will define the required test coverage for mass production. It will be part of your responsibility to find the optimum solution with respect to outgoing quality and production efficiency. Your test solution will be using Automated Test Equipment, a class of highly complex measurement equipment that is explicitly designed for this purpose. Writing the test program, designing the required hardware to interface the device under test and correlation activities between your test environment and bench measurements in the verification lab will all be part of your daily work. Occasional travel may be required, as you will be working with internal and external partners worldwide.
  • Master Degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of RF and Microwave measurement concepts and methods is a must
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment (e.g. during lab work for your thesis)
  • Principles of RF communication transceivers and RF building blocks
  • Ability to study a problem in depth, design experiments, analyze data, and present results
  • Solid programming skills in Java, C/C++, Python or equivalent languages
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Occasional international travel may be required
  • Following qualifications will be considered as a plus:
  • Test development on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), e.g. Teradyne UFlex or Advantest 93k platforms
  • Software development (e.g. Java/C++/Python) in a team using version control like Git/GitLab
  • Knowledge of Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converters (ADC, DAC)
  • Practical experience with highly complex integrated devices
  • Knowledge of integrated semiconductors and their manufacturing process
  • Design-for-Test (DFT)
