DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Communicate with the business community using the appropriate level of detail. Run effective meetings with cross functional teams. Conduct formal and informal presentations. Demonstrate well prepared, stakeholder- focused written communication. Elicit, document, and maintain functional, non-functional, and system requirements. Conduct Interviews and JAD sessions with stakeholders. Effective problem solving and discovery skills to understand “real” issues/needs and build rapport. Ensure requirement traceability from business requirements through UAT. Identify and manage constraints, assumptions, dependencies, and risks. Independently manage stakeholder collaboration in simple situations and rely on support from others in more involved situations. Provide estimates for BSA effort on small projects and enhancements. Troubleshoot technical issues in both production and non-production environments. Demonstrate technical capabilities. Up to 60% telecommuting permitted per week. This position requires up to 15% domestic travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Writing functional and nonfunctional requirements in user story format and functional design documents; SQL; WSDL; AWS; Jira; writing and executing QA test plans; Confluence; Waterfall and Agille SDLC methodologies; and UX Design.
