Here's What You'll be Responsible For:
- Creating test procedures for the safe testing of RF generators, utilizing equipment such as: Spectrum Analyzer, Waveform Generator, Watt Meter(s), Dummy Load, Oscilloscope, and other associated test bench equipment.
- A deep understanding of the support equipment used to power up, operate, and test the output of RF generators is a requirement.
- Effectively setup and teardown power-on test bench as needed for load testing of electronic assemblies.
- Solder and de-solder discrete surface mount and through-hole components, using a soldering iron, hot air solder station, soldering pot, and solder sucker, while meeting acceptability standards for the repair of electronic assemblies.
- Successfully troubleshoot and repair failed electronic assemblies such as RF generators, power supplies, motor drivers, and industrial controllers.
- Maintaining detailed documentation on diagnosis and repair actions for every part in the repair process.
Here's What You'll Bring to Samsung:
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair of RF assemblies.
- IPC or similar certification is a plus
- Military experience in similar field is a plus
- Must know how to safely operate: Spectrum Analyzer, Waveform Generator, Watt Meter(s), Dummy Load, Oscilloscope, and other associated test bench equipment.
- Able to effectively communicate with customers and train other members on our team.
- Strong 6S (5S + safety) commitment.
The current base salary range for this role is between $29.77 and $50.69 per hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
