In your day to day role you will
- Lead with Vision:
- Develop and articulate a compelling vision and strategy to provide integrated security support to business teams.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations and provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Foster an inclusive and diverse team environment that encourages creativity and new ideas.
- Inspire Innovation:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of BISOs and cybersecurity consultants, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support and develop transformation and continuous improvement within information security strategies ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive Engagement:
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication across teams.
- Work closely with cybersecurity and business teams to explore new opportunities to drive security initiatives and clear understanding of risk.
- Measure Impact:
- Continuously improve the learning journey by analyzing risk assessment results, metrics insights, testing findings, and feedback from partners, and establish a tailored risk view for every line of business.
What do you need to bring:
- Proven Leadership: 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk and leadership, with a track record of driving transformation and coaching high-performing teams.
- Deep Expertise: Mastery of cybersecurity risk management principles, methodologies, and the behaviors that define successful teams. Background in cybersecurity consulting and business information security officer support preferred. Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline, such as cybersecurity, business, public policy, economics, statistics, risk management, or computer science; outstanding Bachelor’s Degree candidates will be considered.
- Compelling Communication: Strong ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences through powerful storytelling and clear, strategic communication.
- Strategic Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset that anticipates future trends and challenges.
- Collaborative Spirit: Experience building strong relationships and driving cross-functional initiatives that elevate the entire organization.
