In this role as a Network Development Engineer, you will be part of the lab technical team designing and building the network that enables Kuiper. Define the long term vision, design the technical solutions, and implement the design. This role is focused on our terrestrial network.Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Key job responsibilities
- Define network solutions for Kuiper's launch, manufacturing, and lab sites.
- Support and champion the full lifecycle of networking, including enabling improved support tooling and monitoring capabilities.

- 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
- 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
- 4+ years of working with Cisco and/or Juniper network gear

- Experience with AWS and AWS networking products such as Direct Connect and Transit Gateway
