A. Leadership & Team Development
1. Independently manage a development team responsible for closing parity gaps in the Seller Fees Tech domain across global marketplaces
4. Drive mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions around marketplace expansion priorities
B. Technical Execution & Innovation4. Create reasonable schedules and adjust priorities to ensure the right customer, technology, and engineering outcomes
5. Tackle ambiguous problems and proactively mitigate risks before they become roadblocks7. Support the adoption of high-quality engineering practices throughout your organizationC. Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Work hands-on with engineering, leadership, and Product Management teams to deliver results
2. Foster inputs and participation from all levels of the organization4. Provide direct input into requirement definition through collaboration with customers, developers, and product managers
5. Define and communicate software architecture effectively to engineers, partners, leaders, and a broad set of stakeholders

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Experience with GenAI tools and frameworks for software development
