Purpose of the role:

As a Senior Tax Consultant within our Tax team, you will contribute to tax engagements and internal projects with focus Business Tax Advisory.

Our tax practice is helping our clients effectively manage their tax obligations proactively and responsibly. As part of a global team of more than 35,000 tax professionals you will advise clients on planning, compliance and reporting wherever the client has needs.

As a Senior Tax Consultant, you'll demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax and effectively apply your tax knowledge to client situations, developing and delivering innovative tax planning ideas with timely, responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. You'll help clients in their relations with local or international authorities and assist them in improving their tax function.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in tax engagements

• Preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

• Keep yourself updated with the changes in the Bulgarian and International tax legislation

• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating managers on progress

• Contribute to performance feedback for staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics

• Min. 2 years’ experience on a similar position is required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English (another language is a plus)

• Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential)

• Very good analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, positive attitude
