Conducts validation and debug of operating system software through the design and development of software validation environment. Creates validation plans and associated methodologies, as well as debugging failures. Writes validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, determines root causes of failures, and recommends or develops corrective action. Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality and product release efficiency.Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in building Linux Kernel Continuous Integration and Continuous development systems with many users. - Experience with hardware installation, instrumentation and lab building- Experience working in open source automation projects- Capable of modifying HW according to instructions, removing and installing new components by soldering. - Capable of using different type of logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
