As a, you will play a key role in advancing the field ofesponsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) to ensure safe releases ofthe rapidly advancingsuch as GPT-4, GPT-4V, DALL-E 3as well as toexpand andAI Content Safety Service.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in relevant field AND 1+ year(s) related research experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Research/Applied Science experience in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Multimodal analysis, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience with algorithmic problem solving and software development skills (Python/Java/C++).
• Experience with open-source tools such as PyTorch, as well as experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Publication(s) in conferences or journals in AI related fields, e.g., CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition), Neurips (Neural Information Processing), EMNLP (Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing).

• Experience with large-scale data processing, distributed computing, or cloud platforms.

• Demonstrated interest and/or expertise in Responsible AI and fairness considerations.

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
