Job Description:

In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming customer experiences within a specialized domain. You will directly own the strategy and development of a recommendation engine designed to surface the most valuable saved offers and financial institutions to customers across XO, advertising platforms, and various other touchpoints. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant improvements in customer satisfaction and engagement.

Your day to day:

  • Champion Customers: Advocate for users, ensuring PayPal solutions meet their needs for fast, reliable, and confident transactions.
  • Learn Deliberately: Develop and execute learning plans to uncover customer needs, leveraging research, data, and insights.
  • Prioritize Diligently: Focus on fewer, high-impact initiatives to deliver quality outcomes efficiently.
  • Seek Truth: Design experiments and conduct research to validate hypotheses and improve customer experiences.
  • Execute Effectively: Lead a scrum team to bring product plans to life, delivering impactful solutions to our customers.
  • Be Accountable: Own the success and failures of product experiences, maintaining accountability for both customer and business results.

What you need to bring:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with an MBA.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software product management experience, particularly in web and mobile applications.
  • Heavy consumer-facing experience, including building 0 to 1 products
  • Strong technical acumen with experience integrating with multiple third-party systems.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching consumer products with significant daily usage.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity.
  • Resilience and adaptability; you see obstacles as opportunities and value feedback as a tool for growth.
