DESCRIPTION

The Last Mile challenge is a fascinating blend of real-world complexity and technological innovation. We're tackling multidimensional problems that involve orchestrating complex delivery networks, optimizing routes through dynamic environments, and adapting to everything from unexpected city events to seasonal weather patterns – all while ensuring every package arrives as per our promise. As a Software Development Engineer on our Last Mile Technology team, you'll be at the forefront of solving these intricate puzzles. You'll work on systems that make intelligent decisions in real-time, optimize complex logistics networks, and coordinate thousands of delivery events across diverse geographical areas. Our systems must excel in environments ranging from dense urban centers to suburban neighborhoods, each presenting unique challenges that require innovative solutions. What Makes This Role Exciting:- Scale That Matters: Build systems that coordinate thousands of delivery events across different cities, weather conditions, and scenarios
- State of the Art Tech Stack: Leverage the latest in Gen-AI, machine learning, IoT, and cloud computing to solve real-world problems
- Innovation at Scale: Create entirely new approaches to last-mile delivery challenges
- End-to-End Ownership: Work on complete solutions from route optimization to fleet management, from simulation to real-world deploymentRequired Skills:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Expertise in machine learning and optimization algorithms
- Background in edge computing and real-time data processing
