Develop firmware for a variety of embedded products. You will create project and technical reports as required and help define product architecture as needed. You will participate in schematic/layout review process and test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production. You will help maintain firmware servers and develop tools for internal use, including scripts and basic hardware interfaces. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of Honeywell's customers.

• You will be responsible for developing Embedded application in an RTOS or no RTOS environment
• You will be responsible for creating the requirement specs for embedded application based on system specification
• You should be able to derive requirement from schematics and technical requirement specs created detailed design documents, create test specification, implement the feature and do unit testing for completed features
• You should follow the appropriate coding standards while implementing your design
• Analytical skills & Software / Firmware development skills

Skills

• Strong in C , C++ skills
• Linux based application development experience is desirable
• Good knowledge of RTOS concepts and experience in any RTOS like RTLinux, FreeRTOS
• Excellent knowledge in embedded programming concepts
• Good understanding of multi core Microprocessor and Multithreading concepts
• Good analytical and debugging skills
• Basic understanding of cyber security concepts
• Basic knowledge of BSP
• Knowledge of encryption and decryption methods
• Tool chains Knowledge for cross compilation
• Familiar with I2C, UART, SPI, RS485, Ethernet protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems
• Working knowledge in Microsoft tools, Jira or any project management tools
• Working knowledge in code management tools like Github, SVN etc

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• More than 6 years of experience in embedded development

• Access/Intrusion control system knowledge
• Knowledge of Software / Product Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of agile concepts
