Join Chase as a Transactions Manager I in the Cash Services Research department where you will work with a dynamic team to ensure smooth transactions.
As a Transactions Manager I in the Cash Vault Research Services Team, you will lead a small team focused on promoting meaningful improvements in the service we deliver to our internal business partners and their clients. You will be responsible for fulfilling inquiries and research requests related to deposits and cash orders processed by our in-house and vendor vault partners. You will take appropriate action with the processing vendor to resolve requests
Job responsibilities
- Lead and develop team members based in Indianapolis
- Maintain effective working partnerships with peer teams in Manila and Bengaluru to ensure business continuity for client impacting processes
- Drive change initiatives, business strategy and technology enhancements programs
- Maintain strong controls with internal functions and in accordance with company policies and regulatory changes.
- Manage team performance including productivity, quality, controls, and engagement
- Review and adjust staffing and priorities to align with incoming volume trends
- Partner with product owners and vendors to ensure seamless client experience and drive process improvements
- Attend weekly calls with internal partners and vendors
- Timely issue identification and escalation, stepping in when appropriate
- Engage team members through integrated coaching to drive performance, encourage continuous improvement ideas, tools, and practices
- Motivate, mentor, and lead talent to deliver outstanding results
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 3+ years management experience in retail banking or financial services
- Strong judgment in balancing risk management and customer experience dimension
- Extremely organized and able to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills (listening, negotiating, influencing, building trusting relationships)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communications, including the ability to simplify and communicate complex issues for a variety of audiences
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure of deadlines
