Responsibilities:

  • Drives the delivery of programs and projects for the CCOR Data Analytics and Automation Services (DAAS), whose activities include the automation of CCOR Compliance Testing activities / driving deeper insight into CCOR testing results of the CCOR Testing and Monitoring team (CCOR M&T)
  • Identify Analytical Solutions / Automation Solutions that deliver value: Deliver analytical solutions to existing/new business by leveraging analytical solutions with the use of tools like Python, Alteryx, UiPath The candidate will also be expected to introduce concepts like AI, ML and drive its adoption toward CCOR Test automation and gaining deeper insights into CCOR Testing activities.
  • Program management and Delivery ownership
    o Engage with Stakeholders from across all Lines of Business to build and manage Book of Work
    o Manage the DAAS program with LOBs, which include defining engagement model, establishing governance cadence, drive issues / roadblocks to closure
    o Define and manage Project Plans and ensure adherence – Daily Stand up meetings, manage book of work by LOB and individual analyst
    o Manage a team of 3-5 Automation Analysts in the delivery of projects
  • Manage multiple projects that seek automation of testing models and building automated monitoring models: Partner with CCOR testers and the business to automate all testing activities and increase frequency to monitor compliance in ‘close to real time’. Identify opportunities to:
    o Automate the extraction of population data from the SORs
    o Digitize the testing activities (Automate all testing and increase frequency of monitoring)
  • Maintain strong business relations: Establish and maintain a consistent dialog and relationship with Compliance testing peers and CCOR Leadership across LOBs
  • Timely and accurate reporting: Provide timely and relevant information through appropriate reporting mechanisms (scorecards, dashboards, monthly management meetings).
  • Design rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas and automate reporting and controls.
  • Identification and sharing of business best practices: Work closely with CCOR officers and other stakeholders across all LOBs and Functions to collaborate and share information arising from testing related activities and other testing related initiatives (e.g., trends, systemic issues, control weaknesses).
  • Continuous improvement Mindset: Actively contribute to the continuous learning mindset of the organization by bringing in new ideas and perspectives that stretch the thinking of the group.
  • Support the existing automated Testing Activities:
  • Build and Test Automation scripts that automate CCOR Compliance Testing activities in accordance with the firm’s CCOR Monitoring & Testing procedures
  • Develop and maintain program scripts to extract population data from the systems of records (SORs) to support testing activities
  • Document Business Requirements and generate SOPs for handover of automation to the CCOR Testing team for use as BAU activity
  • Update Test papers that look to document the data extraction, Automation and Analytics approach to extract data / Automate Compliance Testing activities / Drive deeper insights into Compliance Test results
  • Drive the delivery of business insights to strengthen controls and compliance: Leverage basic data exploration techniques (Descriptive and prescriptive/predictive analytics) to support current testing routines that seek to measure compliance to the various laws, regulations and guidelines. Design, build, and execute data quality controls that ensure completeness and accuracy on risk datasets and reports

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Post graduate program with Data Analytics and Automation from a leading institute / University
  • Overall Experience – 9 – 12 years in Automation and Analytics
  • Proven track record of Program management / managing multiple project concurrently
  • Proven track record that showcases the ability to create and manage strong stakeholder connects – be able to engage and deliver a ‘Win – Win’ strategy
  • Experience in managing delivery in an environment with diverse automation solutions like Python / Alteryx / UiPath etc.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to develop and implement state of the art, fully scalable – various machine learning models / algorithms for risk detection, classification, prediction to aid in continuous monitoring and testing activities. (In partnership with a the AI and Machine learning team)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Effective executive summarization of complex business problems and solutions
  • Highly proficient with the use of MS Power point, MS Excel and MS Word

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience of working in an Audit / Testing / Compliance or risk management environment will be additionally preferred but not mandatory
