As a Collections Director - America here at HoneywellBuilding Automation (BA), you will be accountable for overseeing and guidingthe Order to Cash function within the organization for Americas. As theCollections Director - America, you will develop and implement strategies tooptimize the cash collections process, reduce past due receivables, and improveoverall efficiency and the Customer Experience through the entire OTC cycle. Inthis role, you will analyze customer payment trends and develop action plans toaddress any issues that may arise. You will work with cross-functional teams toresolve customer disputes and escalations, ensuring a high level of customersatisfaction. The Collections Director - America will also monitor and reporton key performance metrics related to collections, providing insights andrecommendations for improvement.You will report directly to our Sr. OTC Director and you’ll work out of our SanLuis Potosi, S.L.P., location on a Hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the financial health of the organization byensuring the timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable andoptimizing the collections process.•Establish strategies and develop partnerships with internal and externalstakeholders to ensure BA hits its Past Due, Cash Collection, Bad Debt,Unapplied Cash and Disputes Targets.
• Create learning and development strategies to ensure the professional growthof the OTC team members
• Deploy and monitor the correct execution of the Global Design Models (GDMs)for Order to Cash
• Create and analyze periodical reports on KPIs and underlaying data to developaction plans that will improve BA’s cash position• Represent the SLP BA Site to the broader teams located in the MX0A site
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in collections, credit, finance, customerexperience or accounts receivable management
• Proven track record of successfully managing a large multi-disciplinary teamin a complex matrixed organization
• History of successful talent development
• Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills•Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Past experience in onboarding/offboarding AR Operations into/out of yourteams scope
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex solutions without supervision
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record of people management
