- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required- Economics/Engineering/Business
- 5+ years working in utility/energy industry
- 2+ years of power transaction or contracting experience in US East (PJM, MISO, SPP, SERC) energy markets

- Master’s Degree (MBA/MS)
- Proven ability to evaluate new energy markets, utility tariffs, policies, power contracts, or evaluating new energy sourcing opportunities and technologies
- Familiarity with renewable credit programs, renewable project development, power forecasting and scheduling, portfolio management theory, advanced energy storage, or alternative energy resources
- Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as utilities, regional power planning agencies, renewable project developers, project investors, and renewable OEMs
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects with minimal direction
- Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to details
- 8+ Experience in energy markets, energy trading, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, renewable development, or energy generation technologies
