Description
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining automated tests of power consumption, as well as post-processing and reporting of test results. You will also be responsible for running tests, analyzing test results against expectations, and debugging observed battery life issues. You'll be running many different tests at a time across many different scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results - as well as the creativity and initiative to help us proactively identify new opportunities to improve our workflow.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong coding skills in C/C++, Objective C/Swift or Java
  • Excellence in a scripting language (such as Python)
  • QA knowledge & experience is strongly preferred
  • Solid debugging and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Experience with performance testing is strongly preferred
Education & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in CS/CE or equivalent REQUIRED.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800 and $229,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
