What you need to know about the role-
As a Senior Software Engineer for the Quality org, you will champion the quality assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer iOS, Android, and web applications. Ensuring proper automation test strategy, planning & flawless execution will mitigate risks early in the software development lifecycle for experiences that will engage and benefit our valued customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

In this role, you will have a customer-focused opportunity to set a high bar on expectations throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Prioritizing a healthytesting andautomation investment will pave a path toward a successful and efficient continuous integration pipeline, adding quality checkpoints from start to finish.
