Description
* Designing and implementing secure and performant customer-facing API* Analyzing whether current SQL-backed data models should migrate to NoSQL* Integrating our admin toolset with data and tools from other Apple organizationsYou will be a key collaborator in our engineering team’s effort to mature our Kubernetes infrastructure. You will provide leadership in implementing a secure, robust and high availability development and deployment pipeline.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Technical/Engineering BS or equivalent industry experience
  • Development experience with Ruby, Python, or Go, and with backend frameworks like Rails or Django.
  • SQL database experience, with NoSQL experience a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and service monitoring tools
  • Experience with high-availability operations management, including deployment automation and incident response
Preferred Qualifications
  • Kubernetes experience a plus
  • Passion for continually learning and exploring new technologies.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communication
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
