How you’ll spend your day

  • This leadership role will develop and coach LTC Key Account Managers on the strategic vision and executional expectations for the areas for which they have responsibility, ensuring alignment to organizational strategy
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with strategic customers such as Long Term Care Facilities, National
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of AUSTEDO to provide expert guidance and support to key accounts with a focus on large facilities
  • Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements related to Long Term Care on the National, State, and Local levels
  • Create and implement strategic account plans tailored to each key customer and align them with the company’s objectives; act as point on large national accounts.
  • Identify the unique needs and challenges of each key account and propose customized solutions that align with AUSTEDO.
  • Leverage internal cross-functional partnerships to develop plans that align with the goals of the Innovative Medicines organization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for cross-functional departments
  • Work closely with internal Teva departments such as Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to address customer needs and resolve any issues promptly
  • Identify and provide training and education to key account stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and staff, to ensure proper product utilization and patient care
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of account relationships and regularly report progress to senior management
  • Gather feedback from key accounts and use it to continuously improve products and services as well as to address any concerns or issues
  • Collaborate with payers and government bodies to secure product access and reimbursement for psychiatric treatments
  • Perform all functions in compliance with Teva’s policies and procedures.
Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of Biotech / Pharma experience including customer-facing responsibility (CNS, Psychiatry, Neuroscience, LAI strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years Regional Sales management or similar level people management experience required (CNS, Psychiatry, Neuroscience, LAI strongly preferred)
  • Successful track record of achieving sales goals and building, coaching, and developing effective teams required
  • Previous experience in Home Office/Headquarters role or significant commercial leadership experience (e.g. Market Access) preferred

    • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (Private Practice, Centers of Excellence, CMHC, specialty pharmacy)
    • Understanding of gross-to-net calculations and impact on PL
    • Ability to focus investment in the area business where opportunities exists
    • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required

Additionally, U.S. new hires for customer facing roles will be required to complete all credentialing requirements for access to their customers’ targets within 60 days of their start date. Such credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, additional vaccinations and medical testing. Any request for an exception to the credentialing requirements will need to be approved by the national sales leader within the first 60 days of employment.

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $187,000 – $246,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position may also be eligible for bonus, sales target(s), and/or long-term incentive compensation awards. Level of the role will be commensurate to years of experience and performance criteria.
