Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Pythono OR equivalent experience.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Pythono OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Pythono OR equivalent experience.
· 4+ years people management experience.
Overall 14+years of experience

· Review architectural, design and code changes in core PostgreSQL engine.
· Inspire & educate the team to make choices which has security at its core.
· Lead the efforts to maintain healthy operations of engine components which are part of the PostgreSQL managed service.
· Support the team in building frameworks, analyzing and fixing performance bottlenecks found at cloud scale.
· Guide the team in building prototypes to evaluate design and architectural options for v0.01 projects.
· Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
· Help the team with career planning and finding opportunities to create significant impact.
