As part of GE's IT Risk Identity & Access Management team, this individual will contribute to the definition and implementation of the next generation of Identity & Access Management tools and policies across GE. This individual will integrate with new and existing initiatives across GE Digital to drive the IT Risk & Security requirements and policies from design through implementation.


Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will: Define use cases related to the consumption of Identity & Access management services. Provide inputs to the current Identity & Access management risk assessment and identify potential gaps in the existing solutions. Suggest innovative approaches to mitigate existing risks in the Identity & Access management space. Define and operationalize IT Risk & Security strategy & policies for Identity & Access Management .Identify new technologies and solutions to accomplish to-be functionality required for the next generation of Software that GE is building (Predix, Digital Thread, Cloud)

PKI Management: Experience with Certificate Authority (CA) administration, Certificate Enrollment Web Service, and Policy Web Service

Cryptography: Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, including encryption, digital signatures, and key management

Operating Systems: Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Windows and Linux operating systems3.
Scripting: Skills in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Java, and PERL2

Security Protocols: Knowledge of security protocols like SSL/TLS, S/MIME, and OCSP

Hardware Security Modules (HSMs): Experience in managing and operating HSMs

Networking: Understanding of network security, including data-in-motion and data-at-rest encryption1.
Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot complex PKI-related issues

Documentation: Skills in developing and maintaining procedural documentation and operating procedures

Compliance: Familiarity with industry standards and government regulations, such as NIST 800-532.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Technical Expertise:.

Experience-6 Years

IT project management experience in Security or Compliance.

Experience working in IT audit or compliance.

Green Belt / Black Belt Certified or Quality training certification Leadership:.Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical communities.

Proven ability to coordinate and influence large groups.

Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions.

Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise .Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
