As a Data Strategy Lead/Data Owner, you will have a vital role in implementing the data strategy and solutions in our Wealth Investments business. You will be joining the Global Wealth Data Ownership team within the Chief Data Office (CDO).
In this role you will apply yourandto execute critical aspects of the data governance policy and support regulatory commitments. You will develop and cultivate strong relationships with business and functional partners by demonstrating and communicating how we enable them to better service our clients and leverage data as an asset. You will navigate the organization and figure out who is needed to get things done. You will use your influence skills to establish a strong sense of working together towards a shared vision and goals. You will have ato ensure that your initiatives tie back to our overarching data strategy. You should be awho can connect what may initially seem likedisparatethreads.
You can step into an ambiguous situation, identify the end goal, and lay out the roadmap to get there. Your role leverages skills from one or more prior experiences:
What you will do:
● Collaborate with partners in business, operations and technology and develop subject matter expertise on the products in your domain
● Understand the data landscape (including systems and front/middle/back-office processes) and drive execution of the data strategy for your business domain
● Promote and support adherence to the data governance policy and data standards
● Ensure the Citi Data Operating Model is implemented to reduce risk (including scope, metrics, tactical and strategic solutions, data lineage, data model, data certification); create supporting documentation
● Lead cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable the teams to achieve successful delivery
● Apply Agile methodologies to deliver on large data programs Lead meetings and working sessions to solve issues, challenges, and risks by factoring input from partners and diverse points of view
● Analyze data to validate your understanding of data flows, understand data quality and resolve complex issues

● Understand how data is stored in and flows through systems and databases
● Skilled in excel to analyze data, identify trends, and come to conclusions
PREFERRED:
● Experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Banking, Investments, Custody, Trust, Investment Finance, Lending, Client and/or Account Reference Data, Cross-Border Data Privacy
● Understanding of data governance issues, policies, regulatory requirements Understanding of lean delivery of large programs using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe)
● Knowledge of SQL
