As a Manager, Project Management at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company. General Responsibilities:

• Lead complex projects and programs, providing strategic direction and guidance to projects, peers, and team members.

• Navigate through Go-To-Market, Product, Tech, and Operations domains with a growth mindset, continuously learning new technologies to solve problems through effective coordination and collaboration.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and project customers, offering strategic insights and operational support while applying exceptional influencing abilities to drive project delivery.

• Design, develop, and manage project plans in dynamic environments, adapting to changing requirements and priorities while executing effective risk mitigation to keep projects on track and within schedule.

• Focus on continuous process improvement, enhancing project management practices and methodologies.

The Ideal candidate:

• Has a proven track record in project management, quickly establishing frameworks for managing work in complex environments.

• Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders to maintain commitment and achieve successful outcomes.

• Communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels, using strong partnership and communication skills to manage, inform, and influence project outcomes.

• Utilize problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity to address challenges, offering practical solutions in collaboration with teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 7 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters / MBA degree

• 8+ years of Project Management experience

• 1+ years of People Management experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Experience in implementing technology projects

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
