Description
Keep up to date on industry trends, cultural evolution and socio-political events in the target market, as well as standard processes in copywriting, translation and technical writing.In addition to project work, other opportunities include contributing to improving the tools to make software localisation workflows more efficient, helping to investigate the root causes of international issues that are found in localised software, evangelising best practices for localisation-friendly development and content, defining and driving improvements in our localised product.
Minimum Qualifications
- Accredited fluency in British English
- Extraordinary written and verbal communication
- Expertise in British English Content Creation, Creative Writing or Translation
- Software localisation experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Linguistics, Journalism, Cultural Studies or Creative Writing
- CAT tool knowledge
- Marketing experience
- Extremely detail oriented with extraordinary follow-through skills
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work closely with creative and technical stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of structural aspects of the language (syntax, semantics, phonology, phonetics)
