Duties and Responsibilities:
Core criteria and role objectives:
- Leading customer engagements to assess strategic objectives, map out innovation scenarios, identify key improvement opportunities and other sources of economic value, and present board-level justification for change including business cases.
- Demonstrate expert foundational knowledge in Office of CFO space critical to the role, such as, developing business cases and related metrics and use of tools and templates.
- Successfully pitch CFO value engagements at C Level, primarily CFO’s.
- Partnering with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, create account strategies, and execute sales plays.
- Collaborating with customers to establish value management practices which includes regularly benchmarking for best practices and measuring realized value.
- Lead complex engagements with cross-functional teams (internal and external).
- Conduct executive level dialog in relation to the deliverables.
- Establish and maintain the trust of Customer CFO’s.
A typical engagement requires obtaining buy-in from CFO’s and HOD Finance as Key Stakeholders, confirming scope and timeline, conducting discovery workshops, analyzing and synthesizing information, producing quality, executive ready deliverables with the ability to articulate work in a compelling and effective manner.
Key Attributes
- 15+ years of relevant experience preferred either as a practitioner, management consultant, or in digital transformation roles in the area of Finance.
- Proficient speaker comfortable interacting with C-Level in one to one and/or one to many scenarios.
- Possess a strong executive presence.
- Experience building and retaining strong customer relationships.
- Experience in SAP technologies strongly preferred.
Qualifications, Education and Preferred Skills:
- Exemplary research and authoring skills with a strong emphasis on synthesis and representing complex scenarios
- Ability to produce storylines and high-quality presentations in PowerPoint with a very keen eye for detail..
- Executive presence demonstrated by excellent and energetic public speaking skills.
- Passion for technology. SAP technology knowledge is a huge plus.
- Proven CXO engagement skills.
- Positive, Motivated, Self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Participation in relevant CFO associations is a strong positive.
