* Take the lead on identifying the biggest strategic opportunities for Amazon and publishers to delight readers in Japan and drive growth* Implement mechanisms to routinely capture and share key trends in the Japan Publishing industry to inform current and future strategy
* Work closely with the vendor management team to understand publisher priorities and opportunities
* Present recommendations to cross functional leaders leveraging working backwards frameworks

- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Business level English
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to influence global stakeholders inside and outside of Amazon Japan.

- Fluency in Japanese
- Experience in working in the Japan publishing industry
