Working Student/ Intern position for Advanced Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging Components (m/f/d)
Job Description

*This position can be an Internship or longterm working student position with possibility for Master’s thesis

Gain valuable insights into the development work in the field of medical X-ray imaging while being able to contribute to and shape future developments.

You are responsible for

• Develop artificial intelligence algorithm to model thermal behavior of imaging components.
• Motivation: Improve performance, workflow and value of modern X-ray components for medical imaging systems.
• For that: Perform FEM simulations; Implementation and optimization of different neural network architectures; Optimization of performance, accuracy and functionality; Implementation on embedded system.
• Be part of an agile team of experts (software and hardware engineers) within the larger R&D organization.
• Great opportunity to conclude your studies with a thesis in a dynamic high-tech environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Technical background and education: Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Required: Solid Python programming skills, basic application experience of common deep learning toolboxes (e.g. Tensorflow / Keras).
• Added benefit: Basic experience with common FEM toolchains (e.g. Ansys)
• You have pronounced communication skills and excel as self-organization, independent learner.

• Salary: depending on your previous experience and your current studies, your salary will range between 14.50 €/h and 16.50 €/h
