In meeting these objectives, the BLQA Manager will be responsible for directly supervising the performance of BLQA testing team members to work against program criteria. More specifically, the Lead will:
- Ensure QA Programs/Procedures are executed according to the corporate Business Line Quality Assurance Policy
- Lead or perform process inquiries, walkthroughs and procedure review to support the development/design of QA test work papers, where necessary
- Lead analysis of transaction handling or control performance against defined policies, guidelines or laws
- Oversee QA tests, analyze evidence of transaction handling or control performance against defined policies, guidelines or laws
- Own and approve the accuracy of analyst(s) test work papers, verify and measure the quality of staff conclusions
- Monitor key risk indicators and emerging risks to identify potential edits or updates for existing test scripts/procedures
- Lead test result discussions with business line management and risk partners related to identified exceptions/issues, criteria used to define expected results, root cause assessment, exposure assessment, and actions needed/recommended
- Produce reporting for management review and distribution
- Utilize effective verbal communication of testing results to the BLQA Manager and for responding to and/or escalating significant risks as appropriate
- Other deliverables as assigned by management
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically seven to ten years of applicable experience
