You will:
You will be responsible for architecture, design and development of automation, validation and CI/CD strategies for BIOS and FW on Dell’s client products
Lead the design of the next generation test automation architecture ensuring scalability and portability
Lead the development of automation as an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery.
Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes
Essential Requirements
12-18 years of relevant experience in the architecture, design and development of automation, validation, and CI/CD for BIOS and firmware with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
Experience with multiple programming languages such as C and Python, common software/hardware debugging tools, test automation and CI/CD framework
Knowledge or relevant deployment experience of the PC ecosystem with a focus in BIOS and embedded FW features for client products
Ability to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications
Hands-on experience in the design and development of automation/CI/CD solutions for pre-boot BIOS and embedded controller firmware
Desirable Requirements
Ability to learn new tools, languages and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
