As a Strategic Projects - Transactions Supervising Associate in our team, you will support the planning, execution and deployment of the post close people integration offering on M&A and Outsourcing deals. You will project manage aspects of transaction lifecycle for post close integration up to 4 months after day 1.


You will work as part of the overall Transaction Team which includes Risk, Quality, GCO and IT to mitigate risk associated with transaction activities. Additionally, you will network with others in a matrixed environment to develop, plan, and execute employee touch points throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of complex global transactions, working with teams across functions and geographies to achieve deal objectives
  • Work to understand business needs, support transaction objectives, scope and shape the approach and plan
  • As required, lead delivery of a required transaction output or work package, deliver to cost, quality and time expectations
  • Communicate with the stakeholder throughout the transaction lifecycle and maintain the highest standards of client service throughout
  • Perform analysis to understand underlying business performance issues and propose recommendations for change
  • Work to ensure key project documentation are in place and understood (e.g. workplan, business case, integration activities, etc.)
  • Create and deliver clear, concise, high-quality work products
  • Demonstrate system thinking by recognizing the integration of process, organization and people, technology, and data and to achieve intended outcomes and to articulate change impacts to existing solutions and/or efforts to stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure they are engaged, informed, and consulted as appropriate throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Where necessary, lead meetings and support workshops for projects
  • Support the management of transaction budget, risks and issues, team management, reporting, timing, etc.
  • Proactively participate in the development of the Strategic Talent Projects team (e.g. participate in a Community of Practice to help develop methodologies and/or tools in transactions)
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across the Talent eco-system and with EY delivery partners.
  • Demonstrate high levels of teaming and agility. Work effectively as ‘one team’ with Talent project colleagues

To qualify for the role, you ideally will have

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience in a related role
  • Experience with participating in the execution of projects on a global level and/or to a dispersed client base, ideally with experience across both emerging and developed markets
  • Experience with participating in the embedding of change initiatives in global, matrix organizations (such as EY)
  • Experience with working in fast-paced, ambiguous, complex environments to deliver required results
  • Due to the global nature of the role, willingness to work alternative hours as well as English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication - will be required

What we offer
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $75,900 to $142,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,100 to $161,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
