In partnership with Azure HPC ande are on a mission to deliver the hardware, software, services, and infrastructure roadmap that enables our users to run workloads in Azure – high-performance computing simulations, AI, machine learningtraining andinferencing experiences. You will help us define and develop tactical and strategic solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of our services that form a critical part of Azure infrastructure. You will be our liaison to internal teams and external partners including silicon suppliers, ODMs, and systems integrators.You communicate Microsoft Azure requirements to our external partners, as well as coordinate collaborative efforts with various internal Azure Engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • Managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in management of complex cross-group, cross-business, cross-disciplinary projects
  • Experience with data center engineering infrastructure and New Product Introduction (NPI) from bring-up to decommissioning
  • Familiarity with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), fault domains, and fault risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of building software services at scale automation
  • Track record in working with Silicon vendors (CPU, SoC, FPGA, GPU, etc.)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar on quality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • As aSeniorTechnical PM, you willwork with the engineering team and partners toextend our Diagnosticsportfoliotodefine, deliver, andsustainGPU and Acceleratordiagnosticsacross the Azure fleet.
  • business criticalobjectiveand key result to improve Azure’s Diagnosticsand Telemetrymetrics.Ameasurement thatensuresHardwareDiagnostics signals haveunambiguousroot causes,andclearrepair actionsfordata center operations teams toresolvehardware issues and getcapacityback to production.
  • Work with our HW New Program Initiative(NPI)teamson newGPU / AI acceleratorprogramstoensure our Diagnosticsand Telemetrydevelopment, validation andare ahead of programTimeToMarketmilestones.
  • In addition to driving NPI development, this TPM is expected to drivestrategy for long term fleet sustainability of Hardware Diagnosticsworkflowsacrossorganizational
  • Define and developvendor agnosticrequirements that powers Azure through active engagement with internal/external partners.

  • Work with external partners (Silicon Vendors, ODM, OEM, etc.) to drive Microsoft Azure requirement and coordinate development efforts with different Azureand MicrosoftEngineering teams
