As the Health Care Innovation Associate you will contribute to the research, design, implementation, and sharing of innovative programs and best practices in employer-sponsored insurance.

Job responsibilities

  • Diligently research and stay abreast of areas of innovation in employer-sponsored insurance.
  • Clearly summarize research findings for internal audiences and incorporation into presentations and written papers or social media content.
  • Create content pieces in the form of thought leadership, case studies, and practical resources for employers (e.g., primers, checklists) to help organizations understand, implement, and adapt learnings from our innovation efforts. Topic areas may include primary care, maternal health, care navigation, health care quality, and plan design, among others.
  • Support the design and implementation of innovation initiatives: organize project information and work plans, contribute to program design, and support team members with project management efforts. Projects may include innovative health care program or product implementation, activities to support Morgan Health portfolio companies, and stakeholder convenings and events.
  • Participate in stakeholder and project meetings, shaping agendas and capturing and tracking follow-ups.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong research skills and understanding of reliable resources and databases to consult in the field. Ability to review and draw conclusions from data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – you enjoy writing and can write for both public and business audiences.
  • Structured thinking and ability to break down complex topics into easy to follow, practical presentations and resources.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Project management skills and experience working across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Self-motivated individual continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Most importantly, the Associate is a team player and must have a passion for improving health outcomes and the patient experience.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of work experience, or a Masters Degree and 1+ years work experience.
  • The ability to analyze and draw conclusions from raw data is preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred
