Responsibilities:
- On-site management of facility managers, shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures.- Participates in strategic planning projects.
- Conducts financial analysis and contributes to financial decisions.
- Typically manages 5 or more direct reports, manager of managers.
- Negotiates and rolls out contracts and space.- Participates in recruiting efforts.
- Training and development of staff.- Conduct Project Management for multiple sites.
- Creates work plans and sets priorities to meet goals on budget and on time
- Prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.- Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
- May assist in the design and build out of new facilities and projects to increase current facility efficiency.
- Responsible for asset and inventory management.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience. & 2+ years of management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills & strong leadership and organizational skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling
- Data Center systems include incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of Data Center support.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, chiller systems and generators. To ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment, deployment of new equipment, such as building racks, cabling, and other tasks as necessary.
